A confusing journey with lots of lessons.

Born and bred in Summerland, British Columbia, Canada, I was a kid who loved to create. Painting, writing, drawing - you name it, I did it.

So, naturally, once I graduated from university, I moved to Calgary, Alberta to follow my lifelong dream of becoming, yep, you guessed it… an accountant. Lol. Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed in a new city, I absolutely fell in love with the profession... NOT!

I hated it. Shocker. It was the pits.

*Queue the world's tiniest violin*

What my short stint articling at a public accounting firm gave me was invaluable exposure to all kinds of businesses in numerous different markets. From being involved with startups to holding roles in technology, finance, furniture, oil & gas, green beauty - I mean, I think I’ve just about seen it all.

I’ve been a part of a lot of different companies in a lot of different industries, and can you guess what they all had in common?

They all required copy. Good copy.

And that’s where I come in.

My absolute obsession with writing combined with my versatile experience gives me an edge when it comes to delivering

mic-drop-worthy copy to meet the unique needs of my diverse clientele.
